It appears that the market is prepared to move higher after the recent pullback, which was just a minor blip on the “wall of worry” that has been impacting the stock market since the 2009 low, but still there are still some strategists and technicians believing that it has been too long since a major correction. However, the noticeable uptick in bearish sentiment that has been recently experienced has been needed and has paved the way for astute traders to use the “dip strategy” to enter the market at appropriate times.

The ramped-up concern prior to the FOMC meeting quickly dissipated shortly after the announcement last Wednesday; with the S&P futures rising 25 points in less than 15 minutes.
